awaken & align

Join us for a one-day soul-nourishing escape in the mountains of Colorado, just south of Breckenridge, where fresh air and golden light invite you to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Our retreat takes place in a cozy, modern home surrounded by nature’s beauty — a peaceful space to slow down and come back to yourself.

Throughout the day, you’ll be guided through yoga, mindfulness, and intention setting, thoughtfully woven into a meaningful mala-making workshop. Together, we’ll explore what you’re calling in, grounding those intentions through movement, reflection, and creative ritual. Nourishing, seasonal meals will be shared, with spacious moments for journaling, quiet time, or simply being in nature — walking among the aspens, sitting by the fire, or connecting with new friends.

If you’d like to linger a little longer, you’re welcome to stay overnight and enjoy a gentle morning practice and light breakfast before heading home.

Sara Chaplin

Owner and Founder Sara Chaplin's journey into yoga began soon after college, and it immediately resonated with her. The practice fulfilled a deep longing, providing a supportive haven to release tension, alleviate stress, and reconnect with her authentic self. Since 2004, Sara has immersed herself in an ongoing exploration of both the physical and philosophical dimensions of yoga. On the mat, Sara brings a delightful mix of lightheartedness and playfulness, creating a welcoming space for practitioners to relax and embrace the present moment. As an eager learner, she approaches each class with curiosity, always seeking new insights and personal growth.

Joy Wegs

With over 15 years of experience and an E-RYT 200 certification, Joy’s teaching is a rich tapestry woven from the precision of Iyengar, the fluidity of Vinyasa, and the transformative heat of Baptiste. Rooted in the heart-centered path of Bhakti, Joy views the mat as a sacred landscape for self-discovery and a playground for the soul. Guided by the values of Growth, Levity, and Authenticity, Joy has a gift for inviting students to meet their physical and mental "edge" without taking themselves too seriously. Beyond being seasoned facilitator of asana, she also guides the sacred craft of mala-tying, helping students ground their intentions into tangible practice. Whether you are flowing through a powerful sequence or sitting in the quiet of a mala workshop, Joy offers a space that honors ancient tradition with a modern, playful spirit.

What is the daily itinerary?

We’re very flexible when it comes to schedules and itineraries. We have two yoga classes scheduled a day, in the morning and early evening, but of course all are optional. The rest of the day and evening is completely up to you, we’ll be there to offer up ideas for the group!

Questions

Can I share a room with someone else?

We’d be happy to arrange this, although most people joining us on their own seem to like their own room. We normally put people in a shared room if they’re traveling together and request it specifically – friends, siblings, couples etc. However, if we do get requests from two people traveling on their own who would like to share, we can put you two in a shared room. Please contact us if this is your preference.
